All three daily guides were very good and willing to be my personal photographer too. That was great. The downside for me was the prices at the shops we went to and the feeling of constantly being scammed at these places. I could have purchased the shirts, scarves, knickknacks, jewelry etc for cheaper in the US ($30 for a block print shirt, $70 for a wool scarf, etc). I also saw very similar if not exact items…”

We got an early start (4:30am) from my hotel and after a fast drive into the mountains we arrived at the base of the stairs up to the temple. we stopped for tea at the halfway point and arrived at the top with plenty of time before the sunrise. there was a small but not overwhelming crowd waiting in respectful silence for the sun to appear. It was a beautiful way to start the day.”
